December 4, 2020 - Good progress on repairs .....
While we did not get as far as expected last week a lot of ground work was laid to make this a good week with quite a bit of work-in-progress (WIP) being completed:
- Washer installation complete and tested
- Maretron DSM410 installation complete (P/H and master stateroom)
- 6 kW sound dampening insulation complete
- Installation of new rocker switches (mystery switch was for compass and rudder lights)
- Repair and installation of engine belt guard
- Aft port wash down faucet leak fixed - tightened up connections
- Inspected bow thruster electrical connections
- Stereo speaker installation in P/H completed
- Stern cleats removed in preparation for new pop-up cleats
- Scotty down rigger mount installation started
And maybe a few more smaller projects .....
- Door bumper replaced
- GOST system - mapped
- Electrical System/Power Converter (ASEA 12) - mapped
and
- Kayaks loaded on the boat (Lois's b-day present a bit late)

Growing list of things not found during survey:
- Mystery toggle switch on F/B is for compass/rudder indicator light
- Leak path under name plate
- Corroded terminal buss block
- Faulty VHF/AIS wiring and failed antenna
- Gelcoat blisters - no evidence noted during survey
- Failing bottom paint - reported renewed in the fall of 2019
- Pitted drive shaft
- Failing shaft bearings - even though it had been serviced 2015 and 2016
- Bow thruster wiring issue
- Stabilizer system in need of significant maintenance even though reported they had been serviced in September 2019
- Failed Balmar regulator and missing thermal sensor connection
