Our cruise down Johnstone was benign with occasional rain/fog patches and a rain squall that whipped up the water locally. We ran against the current initially, but as it turned, we found ourselves making just over 13 knots in Race Passage!
We spotted sea otters and two pods of Orca, one at the west end of Johnstone and the second near Ripple Point.
