May 7 - May 14, 2022 - Ketchikan to Wrangell

May 7 - May 14, 2022 -  Ketchikan to Wrangell

We have worked our way up to Wrangell via a stop in Kina Cove (Kasaan Bay), up to Santa Anna Cove, Frosty Bay ending at Wrangell.  As we did this trek we did surveys of Hollis in Kasaan bay, Thoms Place and Fools Inlet along Seward Passage.  Unfortunately we had SE winds playing with us and we tended toward anchorages that were in the lee of the wind.  We will have to check out these other anchorages in the future.

We have managed to harvest Dungeness Crabs and get some rowing.  The weather has been spring like with a mix of rain and sunshine on the same day.  It could be warm one moment, turning cool the next.

Spectacular scenery with whale sightings, eagles seals and river otter.  Unfortunately, we have yet to spot our first bear.

Raven is running perfectly - all systems green!
