July 20, 2022 - Snug Cove
Nice cruise down Clarence Strait under overcast conditions with winds building as we approached Snug Cove. A sailboat was in the prime location, so we anchored in 70’ water to leave plenty of room. Shortly, the sailboat left so we relocated to his position in about 35’ of water. Winds in the cove were hitting 15 kts causing us to move around a bit dragging the chain across the rocky bottom. As conditions settled, the motion became less as did the noise.
We both got a row in around the cove and visited the remains of an old wooden boat on the islet in the center of the bay.
