July 28, 2022 - Gosse Bay

July 28,  2022 - Gosse Bay

After the wolf sighting, we pulled up all the toys and got under way to Forit Bay.  Easy transit down Mathieson Channel, through the Perceval Narrows, Reid Passage and into Seaforth Channel making water underway.  We stopped in near Shearwater to get cell reception for about 1 ½ hours before pressing on to Forit Bay.

As we entered Forit Bay, there were two boats already at anchor and we did not feel we could comfortably fit in the bay.  Checking nearby possibilities, we settled on Gosse Bay which turned out to be a lovely anchorage.  Again, it became pretty hot, so we ran the AC for 1 ½ hrs.

The next morning was calm, and we both got a row in before leaving the bay.
