August 1,  2022 - Green Island Anchorage

We headed back towards Kisameet and fished, eventually pulling up a rockfish.  Abandoning this location, we moved across to west side of Fisher Channel and fished along the side for a couple of hours before moving on.

We next went down Fisher Channel towards Hakai Passage and fished along Nalau Island (Middle Point) where Geary caught a salmon in less than 15 minutes.  While repositioning to make another run along the point, we were joined by several small fish boats from a local lodge.  We made a run along the point but neither we, or the lodge boats were having any luck so we moved on along the shoreline, no luck.

We headed off to Green Island Anchorage, which is a lovely anchorage, occupied by three other boats.  We did an excellent job of shoehorning into position between two sailboats.  After getting settled, we pulled out the fish cleaning table, Lois identified the species (pink), and Geary cleaned the fish.
