Raven was smoothly slipped back into the water on Monday morning, the 16th, with Alex checking for leaks from the stabilizers or thru-hull.  After getting back in the water it was off for a sea trail for Brad to verify stabilizer functionality had not been affected - all systems are working as expected.  Finalization of the Garmin GT23M-TH transducer installation was completed by Aaron as well.

Tuesday, the 16th, was spent with Tom resolving the 120V trash compactor and galley outlet plugs.  Turns out it was very simple, the common wire had not been relocated from the 120V to the inverter bus.  Keith continued making progress on hull and cap rail paint repairs.

And today Tom and Aaron worked on the installation of the Marathon MBB300C black control box and connecting it our Garmin navigation system.  A bit later Tim was assigned to install the non-skid on our interior stairs as Kirk remove the Portuguese door for repair.  When Kirk got into the door hinges he found aluminum backing plates.  Apparently this is not the ideal approach as the aluminum tends to break down causing damage from inside the door resulting in the face sheets cracking.  The solution is to remove the plates and use a fiberglass plug in place of the aluminum plates.

As our plan requires us to leave on Friday, we will be leaving the door behind for repair and will need to return to have it reinstalled.
