May 18 - 19, 2024 -Ketchikan

An early morning departure gave us calm conditions the entire way.  Winds were calm and the flood tide and with westerly swells gave a settled sea state making for an easy trip to Ketchikan.  During the last stretch into Ketchikan, we had a nice conversation with James from High Slack, a Selene 43.  We agreed to meet the next day and chat about Moonstruck, a boat they were first interested, and Raven.

Our first stop was at the fuel dock, to top off the fuel, and then onto Bar Harbor.  Once again, we were assigned a slip without power.  We settled in for a nice sunset.

The next day was off to the grocery and liquor store to top off the provisions.  Next was an oil and oil filter change for Ravens engine and then a nice visit with James and Steve from High Slack.
