 December 29, 2024 - Bainbridge QCYC Outstation

We woke to rainy conditions, however, the rain eased by the time we departed.  Heading south through Puget Sound we could see cloudy conditions, looking ominous for more rain.  We did have occasional sprinkles enroute, however, it was a calm and relatively dry trek.  The worse that happened was a branch managed to go unnoticed and was t-boned on the bulb making a tapping sound.  With a brief stop, and reverse, we were able to clear the branch and continue on our way.  As we arrived at the outstation, we found one of the last remaining spot on the dock to tie.  Soon boats were starting to raft, and we had Holiday rafted to our side.  As the day settled, we had a brief bit of sunlight and Geary was able to get a good drone shot of the outstation.

Later, after a small social gathering in the clubhouse, Geary got the drone up for one more shot of the outstation and boats.

This closes out 2024 with 3,276 NM/ 474 engine hours of cruising!
