December 23, 2024 - Fisherman's Terminal
We left Everett under clear and sunny skies! Enroute, we came across a small group of Orca, four or five of which two were juveniles. We steered away, stopping the boat, and watched as they breached, tail slapped, and spy hopped, passing behind us! After watching for some time, we continued through the locks and to Fishermen’s Terminal, arriving at 12:15 PM. We had lunch and prepared the boat for our guest and evening cruise as we would join the Argosy Christmas Ship finale tour. Soon Christine, Jim, Chris, Julie, Alex and Goncçello joined us, and we departed at 5:00 PM to catch the afternoon finale in Lake Union. With the completion of the afternoon finale, we cruised the lake, had food and beverages, and prepared for the last performance in Portage Bay. While overcast, we were fortunate to be able to enjoy the two cruises in calm and dry conditions.
