With Tuesday forecasted to be sunny and rain on Wednesday, we decided to make a strait shot to Sawyer Glacier to take advantage of the sunny day.  With an early start, we made it to the glacier by 1:30 pm to find South Sawyer packed with bergie bits – too thick to comfortably navigate past Sawyer Island.  We turned our attention to North Sawyer and were able to make a close approach.  We returned to the entrance and settled down for the night enjoying a nice dinner on the flybridge.
